Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance clients' mental health.
• Creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can openly discuss their emotions and experiences, facilitating insight into their personal situations and relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, guiding them in defining and achieving their personal and therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

To thrive in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Independent licensure in one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Strong skills in professional evaluation, decision-making, and treatment planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic nature, allowing you to connect with clients effectively.
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, a preference will be given to those with:

• Experience in remote counseling practice, particularly with telehealth tools.
• A background in diverse therapeutic modalities that can be applied to various client needs.
