Central Valley Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time capacity. Counselors will engage in virtual meetings and consultations with peers, ensuring continuity of care and comprehensive treatment planning. Our outpatient office supports professional interactions and guidance, making sure every counselor has the resources they need to thrive.

• Conduct detailed intake assessments to establish patients' goals, needs, and history, thus informing a personalized treatment plan.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
• Continuously evaluate the progress of clients and adjust treatment approaches based on their evolving needs and feedback.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare specialists.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health care, enhancing personal skills and improving client outcomes.

As an LPC at Central Valley Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse array of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our outpatient setting allows you to conduct regular sessions with clients who require support for ongoing mental health management, thereby empowering them to engage with their treatment actively.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of three years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating your capacity to engage effectively with clients.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in the mental health profession.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds, fostering a therapeutic alliance that enhances healing and personal growth.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies to ensure seamless documentation and communication.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care will be highly regarded and beneficial in this role.
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals is a plus, demonstrating teamwork and a commitment to holistic client care.

Central Valley Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Benefits include:
