What You'll Be Doing Day To Day

Perform core warehouse processes including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction. Execute daily operations effectively using available systems and tools to support efficient workflows and maintain data integrity. Unload, process, and handle inbound and outbound merchandise safely, securing goods for proper movement throughout the distribution center. Identify, document, and remove any damages found or caused during handling of merchandise. Contribute to goal setting for overall warehouse operations and support implementation of local business plans and improvement projects. Analyze daily and seasonal workload demands to ensure efficient volume handling and resource planning. Support high goods availability through timely and precise execution of assigned tasks. Work in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious manner, sharing good practices to optimize daily operations. Follow all IKEA health, safety, and security rules, actively helping to prevent incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, and products. Collaborate with colleagues and take responsibility for additional tasks or projects as assigned.
