The Metrapolis Behavioral Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time position within our remote detox center in Salem, Oregon. Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining the highest standards of care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including the Clinical Director and Executive Director, to ensure a therapeutic atmosphere and implement effective treatment plans for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as an LCSW, you will engage in a variety of essential activities aimed at facilitating client recovery:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the counseling needs of clients, ensuring each treatment strategy is tailored to their unique circumstances.
  • Utilize DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria for diagnosing substance abuse disorders and determine the appropriate level of care leveraging ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) guidelines.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans that include substance abuse counseling components, outlining specific therapeutic interventions for individual clients.
  • Create detailed discharge and continuity of care plans that facilitate a seamless transition for clients to subsequent levels of care.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records that document counseling sessions, educational services provided, assessments, and any follow-up actions taken.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely treatment planning and clinical charting as required, while also conducting necessary case management updates.
  • Coordinate support services with families and other stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and intervention when needed.
  • Engage with external referral sources such as legal and educational institutions to provide comprehensive support for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will serve consists primarily of individuals affected by substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
