Position Overview

Prestige Life Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time remote position, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable communities by providing mental health and social support services. This position requires a commitment to helping clients overcome life's challenges, including issues related to neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health struggles, and substance abuse.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to our Hospice Center that serves a diverse range of clients. You will have access to advanced communication tools and support systems. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, enabling a well-rounded approach to client care that incorporates medical, emotional, and psychological support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, coordinate, and implement individualized support plans aimed at helping clients navigate and overcome their difficulties.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clientsโ€™ needs by interviewing them and gathering comprehensive information about their current circumstances, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Establish tailored, measurable goals for each clientโ€™s case, working collaboratively to track their progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during sessions, helping clients stabilize and cope during emotionally charged moments.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records of all client interactions, reporting accurately on their status and progress.
  • Represent clients during case conferences and, when necessary, provide testimony in court cases regarding client wellbeing and treatment plans.
  • Act as a key-worker and engage actively with other professionals, including psychologists, physicians, and community service providers, to ensure a seamless and comprehensive care experience for clients.
  • Facilitate referrals to community services and resources, helping clients connect with additional support systems for recovery and empowerment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including children, adults, and families facing significant life challenges. You will encounter clients dealing with a wide spectrum of issues, from mental health crises and trauma to the effects of domestic violence and substance misuse. Your holistic, empathetic approach will be essential in guiding them toward recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must hold a state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
