Work Environment

This position operates in a remote outpatient setting, enabling flexibility while ensuring you have access to the necessary technological tools and resources. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' biopsychosocial needs to develop effective treatment plans tailored to support individual goals.
• Provide various psychotherapeutic modalities, including individual, group, family, and couple counseling based on assessed needs.
• Engage actively in collaborative program planning with psychiatry and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in compliance with program and regulatory standards, utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Participate in crisis intervention and triage evaluation for both outpatient and inpatient teams, ensuring immediate support for patients in need.
• Maintain ethical standards and adhere to agency policies while promoting a culture of respect and integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse range of patients, emphasizing those experiencing emotional distress, relationship conflicts, trauma, substance misuse, and various mental health disorders. Utilizing your expertise, you will play a vital role in enabling patients to improve their overall functioning—supporting their journey toward wellness through individualized care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal medical standards and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.
• Demonstrated ability to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficient in using EMR software and related technologies to document and manage patient data effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches that promote coping skills and resilience among patients.
• Previous experience integrating mental health care into primary care or medical settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
