Job description

About Us

Array Labs is building space-based sensing systems for missions that require timely, reliable understanding of the physical world.

Government and commercial customers increasingly need sensing capabilities that can operate across wide areas, through clouds, day and night, and at the speed required for real-world decisions. Many of these capabilities have historically depended on large, expensive, and slow-moving programs. Array is building a different path.

We design and build satellites, radar payloads, sensing architectures, and software solutions end-to-end. Our systems are designed to support mission-critical applications including moving target indication, wide-area monitoring, 3D geospatial intelligence, infrastructure resilience, disaster response, and other operational sensing needs.

Array's goal is to make it dramatically easier to understand what is happening across the physical world - what changed, what moved, and what requires action - so that government and commercial organizations can act with greater speed, confidence, and precision.

About the Job

Array is building space-based sensing systems for missions where timely, reliable information is critical. As government customers seek faster and more cost-effective ways to field advanced capabilities, Array is focused on transitioning new technology into funded programs, prototype efforts, and operational deployments.

We are looking for a Government Capture Manager to help make that happen.

In this role, you will help convert government interest, customer needs, and Array's technical capabilities into clear, compelling, and executable pursuits. You will work across Array's business, technical, and program teams to shape opportunities, develop proposals, organize technical and cost volumes, and present Array's capabilities clearly and credibly to government customers.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership. You will not inherit a large capture organization; you will help build the operating system for how Array pursues and wins government work, from pursuit plans and proposal rhythms to compliance discipline, technical storytelling, and award handoffs.

The right person will be excited to operate close to the technology, close to the customer, and close to the mechanics of how government opportunities become real programs. As Array grows, this role will help turn strong technical ideas into funded programs that deliver real capability to mission users.

Responsibilities
  • Own the capture process for government opportunities from qualification through proposal submission and award handoff
  • Turn customer and opportunity context into clear pursuit plans, proposal strategies, win themes, and submission requirements
  • Lead the development of white papers, quad charts, technical volumes, cost volumes, and other government-facing materials
  • Partner with engineering, product, finance, legal, and program management to ensure proposals are technically credible, compliant, and executable
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling government-facing language
  • Build repeatable capture processes, templates, proposal assets, and operating rhythms that allow Array to pursue government work with greater speed and discipline
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in capture, proposals, government programs, contracts, or related roles
  • Experience supporting government proposals, white papers, technical volumes, cost volumes, or similar submission materials
  • Familiarity with U.S. Government acquisition processes, including OTAs, SBIRs, BAAs, CSOs, IDIQs, or FAR-based contracts
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, business, finance, legal, and program teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, professional writing, business, or related field
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience with defense, aerospace, space, remote sensing, radar, autonomy, or other advanced technology programs
  • Experience supporting capture or proposal efforts with government customers such as NRO, NGA, DARPA, Space Force, or similar DoD, Intelligence Community, or civil government organizations
  • Experience supporting proposals for OTAs, SBIRs, BAAs, CSOs, IDIQ task orders, prototype agreements, or other government acquisition pathways
  • Experience building or operating disciplined proposal processes, including compliance matrices, proposal outlines, review cadences, pricing inputs, and cost-volume materials
  • Experience translating technical input from engineers into clear proposal language, customer briefings, white papers, or other government-facing materials
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, government contracting workflows, contract deliverables, reporting requirements, or award documentation
  • Experience working in a startup, small business, nontraditional defense contractor, or fast-moving technical organization
  • Active or previous U.S. security clearance
$120,000 - $180,000 a year
Compensation & Benefits
Our hiring and compensation strategy is simple: find uncommonly good people and pay them uncommonly well.

We offer high flexibility between salary and equity-based compensation. Final candidates can choose from three compensation mixes: low, medium, or high equity. Equity is a significant component of total compensation, and we aim to provide meaningful ownership for this role.

Full-time employees also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, commuter benefits, and more.

Interview Process
We will conduct interviews via Google Meet with the potential for an onsite visit; the typical process takes around 3-5 weeks to complete from start to finish.
