Benjamin Capital Group is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Registered Representative - Capital Raising Wholesaler to expand advisor and investor relationships while supporting the growth of the firm's investment platform.
Position Summary
The Registered Representative - Capital Raising Wholesaler will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, family offices, broker-dealers, and accredited investors to support fundraising and distribution efforts for Benjamin Capital Group's alternative investment offerings.
This role is ideal for a highly entrepreneurial professional with experience in alternative investments, capital raising, and advisor relationship management who thrives in a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive capital raising efforts and investor engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, broker-dealers, family offices, and accredited investors
  • Present investment opportunities, market insights, and portfolio strategies to prospective investors and advisor networks
  • Educate advisors and investors on distressed real estate credit strategies, non-performing loan investments, and alternative asset opportunities
  • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings, presentations, and networking events to expand distribution channels
  • Identify and cultivate new investor relationships and strategic partnerships
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects, investors, and referral sources throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with internal leadership, operations, and compliance teams to support investor onboarding and ongoing relationship management
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, and reporting metrics.
  • Represent Benjamin Capital Group at industry conferences, investor events, and networking functions

Qualifications
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in capital raising, wholesaling, alternative investments, private placements, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of private market investments, real estate debt, and alternative investment structures
  • Existing relationships with financial advisors, RIAs, family offices, or accredited investors highly preferred
  • Proven track record of business development and relationship management success
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently within a remote and growth-oriented environment
  • Willingness to travel for advisor meetings, conferences, and investor events as needed.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience raising capital for alternative investment funds, real estate funds, or private placements
  • Knowledge of distressed debt, mortgage note investing, or REO asset strategies
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and investor management systems
