What the Role Entails

The Vice President, Capital Markets will play a critical leadership role in supporting the firm's global financing and capital raising activities. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Head of Capital Markets, this individual will be responsible for executing debt and equity transactions, managing lender and investor relationships, supporting fund-level capital raising initiatives, and helping optimize the capital structure across Cloud Capital's portfolio.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Investments, Finance, Asset Management, Legal, and Executive Leadership teams to support acquisitions, developments, recapitalizations, refinancings, and strategic capital initiatives across the firm's global platform.


What You Will Do

  • Lead the execution of debt financings, refinancings, and recapitalizations across portfolio assets, development projects, and fund structures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financing models to evaluate debt capacity, covenant compliance, financing alternatives, and overall capital structure optimization.
  • Support equity capital raising initiatives, including preparation of fundraising materials, investor presentations, due diligence responses, and data room management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with banks, insurance companies, debt funds, institutional investors, and other capital providers.
  • Coordinate lender and investor due diligence processes, ensuring timely delivery of information and execution of transactions.
  • Assist with negotiating loan agreements, term sheets, intercreditor arrangements, and other financing documentation alongside internal and external legal counsel.
  • Monitor debt portfolios, financing maturities, covenant compliance, and reporting obligations across investment vehicles and asset-level financings.
  • Partner with the Investments team to evaluate acquisition opportunities and provide financing strategies during underwriting and transaction execution.
  • Collaborate with Asset Management and Finance teams to support portfolio performance reporting and lender/investor communications.
  • Conduct market research and maintain intelligence on capital markets, interest rates, financing trends, lender appetite, and broader digital infrastructure investment activity.
  • Assist with strategic initiatives related to new investment vehicles, joint ventures, co-investment structures, and institutional partnerships.
  • Prepare materials for Investment Committee, Executive Leadership, lenders, investors, and Board-level presentations.
  • Remain flexible and proactive in taking on new responsibilities, special projects, and strategic initiatives as the organization continues to grow.


Requirements:

What You Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Real Estate, Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience within investment banking, infrastructure/private equity, real estate private equity, project finance, corporate finance, or capital markets.
  • Strong experience executing debt financings, structured financings, capital raising transactions, and complex financial analyses.
  • Demonstrated understanding of commercial real estate, infrastructure, digital infrastructure, data centers, or related asset classes.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience preparing investment memoranda, lender presentations, investor materials, and transaction documentation.
  • Strong understanding of debt structures, credit analysis, covenant packages, and financing markets.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, investors, lenders, and external advisors.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Self-motivated, commercially minded, and capable of operating independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Existing relationships within banking, institutional lending, infrastructure, or digital infrastructure markets are highly desirable.
  • Experience within the data center sector, digital infrastructure, real estate private equity, or infrastructure investing is preferred but not required.
