Job Summary:
The Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) Specialist - Senior leads business transformation and process improvement initiatives by analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing business operations, workflows, and systems. This role provides expertise in process re-engineering methodologies, organizational change management, activity and data modeling, and business modernization initiatives. The specialist works closely with business and technical stakeholders to develop innovative solutions, improve operational efficiency, establish performance metrics, and facilitate the successful adoption of new business processes and technologies across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead business process re-engineering initiatives across all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and training sessions to gather requirements and drive process improvements.
  • Analyze current business processes and develop future-state process models and workflows.
  • Apply process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to modernize business operations.
  • Develop activity models, data models, process flows, and operational procedures.
  • Identify industry best practices and recommend solutions to improve performance, productivity, and quality.
  • Define, develop, and evaluate business performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support organizational change management efforts and facilitate adoption of new business processes.
  • Integrate new business processes with existing systems, technologies, and operational environments.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure process improvements align with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations.
  • Support business system modernization initiatives and information system development efforts.
  • Identify risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and quality management initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, program managers, technical teams, and end users.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must possess an active Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in Business Process Re-Engineering with progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Experience with EDI/XML electronic data exchange technologies.
  • Strong experience in business process analysis, process modeling, business transformation, and organizational development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies and business modernization initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and executive presentations.
  • Experience developing business process documentation, workflows, procedures, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Experience supporting change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting enterprise integration and modernization initiatives within logistics and supply chain environments.
  • Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, finance, transportation, contract administration, or operations research functions.
