About the job Remote Booking Agent
The Booking Agent will represent clients, seeking performance or appearance opportunities and negotiating on their behalf. They work closely with event organizers, promoters, and venues to secure engagements that align with the artists or talents career goals. The agent ensures contracts are favorable and handles all necessary logistics to ensure smooth execution of engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact between client and event organizers, promoters, venues, or clients
.2. Booking Engagements: Research and identify potential opportunities for clients, including performances, speaking engagements, tours, appearances, and more.
3. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, fees, and other contract details to ensure favorable conditions for the client.
4. Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage travel and accommodations.
5. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with client and key industry stakeholders such as vendors
6. Financial Management: Oversee financial aspects of bookings, including payments, deposits, and ensuring vendors are paid in a timely manner.
7. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor activities to provide strategic booking advice to clients.
