Job description

Bilingual Receptionist

Rebecca Kitson Law (RKL) is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and detail-oriented professional to join our Administrative Team as a remote Bilingual Receptionist. This role requires someone who excels at building rapport and supporting prospective and active clients with compassion and a positive, resilient mindset.

Why This Role Matters

This position is a client's first experience with the firm. Many families arrive with fear or uncertainty, and the receptionist in this role sets the tone for our firm - offering a calm, informed, and welcoming presence that helps clients feel heard and supported from the very first contact is crucial. This role's primary focus is to guide clients to the right team member or team, but it will also handle daily projects to support the firm's administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reception Routing:
  • Greet callers with a professional, emotionally grounded, and personable tone.
  • Build rapport with compassion, active listening, and cultural humility.
  • Gather necessary information to know who is calling, their needs, and where they need to go.
  • Transfer calls to the appropriate team member or team.
  • Collect payments accurately
  • Log notes and call summaries to the appropriate client matter

Administrative Support

  • Process and sort daily mail.
  • Support administrative functions with projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, writing, listening, and comprehension).
  • Strong and professional call etiquette using cloud-based VoIP (personable, respectful, patient, and emotionally grounded during conversations)
  • High capacity to answer 50+ calls a day, return calls, and minimize hold times.
  • Strong ability to build trust through a warm, compassionate, people-centered approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently, manage time well, and stay focused in a remote environment.
  • Windows computer required (not Mac).

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior reception experience strongly preferred.
  • Highly proactive and internally motivated.
  • Thrives in a role where compassion and close attention to detail work together
  • Knowledgeable with CRM and software such as Monday.com, Lawmatics, Microsoft, or similar.

Contractor Terms

  • This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role
  • You are responsible for your own taxes under Mexican law
  • No U.S. employee benefits are provided
  • Paid U.S. holiday breaks, daily wellness breaks, and other performance-based bonuses.
  • Structured Rest Period Allowances.
  • You will be required to sign an independent contractor agreement
  • Base compensation is determined by experience and paid in USD
  • 40 project hours per week, Monday-Friday, U.S. Mountain Time.
