Job description

Primarily remote, part-time (4-6 hours/week) bookkeeper. Must live in the DFW area. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or as a full charge bookkeeper doing small business bookkeeping. Proficient in Quickbooks Desktop Pro and intermediate Excel. Strong attention to detail, trustworthy, and very organized.

Key responsibilities:

  • Pay bills and record deposits
  • Reconcile bank statements and code credit cards
  • Monthly financial reporting to owner
  • Tax document prep and communicates with outside CPA as needed
  • Coordinates payroll with ADP
  • Some HR and administrative functions

Due to the very part-time nature of the position, it could be ideal for a retiree, stay-at-home parent, or someone working full-time looking to supplement their income.
