Job description

What Your Day Will Look Like:

As an Engineering Designer, you'll lead portions of complex transportation design projects and provide advanced technical support in roadway, multimodal, and intersection design. You'll apply engineering judgment, mentor junior designers, and collaborate closely with project engineers and managers to ensure the delivery of accurate, efficient, and constructible design solutions.

What You'll Do:

Lead the preparation of detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects. Perform advanced design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements. Coordinate design activities among multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff. Assist project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and design deliverables.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.

2+ years of Texas transportation engineering design experience.

Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.

Experience with MicroStation & OpenRoads Designer.
