Stantec is a global leader in the design and consulting industry, providing innovative solutions to complex infrastructure challenges. We are committed to creating sustainable communities and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Your Opportunity

Stantec is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Digital Practice Specialist to support and advance our digital delivery capabilities across the Infrastructure Business Operating Unit. This full-time, remote role focuses on the development, administration, and continuous improvement of Bentley and Autodesk digital environments, with a strong emphasis on Common Data Environments (CDEs), ProjectWise-managed workspaces, Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, Open-Suite applications, Autodesk Civil 3D / ACC configurations, and Infrastructure Practice Software Support and Management.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of hands-on infrastructure design experience and digital practice expertise—enough design background to understand project workflows and requirements, while being comfortable operating primarily in a digital enablement, support, and advisory role.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and administer ProjectWise-managed workspaces and CDE solutions supporting Bentley applications (MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer, OpenBridge Modeler/Designer, OpenSite Designer).

  • Support Bentley Infrastructure Cloud (BIC) and iModel-based workflows.

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to infrastructure project teams using Bentley and Autodesk platforms.

  • Deliver training, workshops, and best-practice guidance related to digital delivery, CDE usage, and design workflows.

  • Support Autodesk Civil 3D standards, configurations, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360) administration.

  • Assist with software management for Infrastructure “Bronze” applications and digital tools.

  • Process Requests for New Technologies and support pilot implementations.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate digital practices into active infrastructure projects.

  • Ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency of digital deliverables across projects.

  • Stay current with industry trends, vendor roadmaps, and emerging digital delivery practices.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Required:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting or delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.

  • Demonstrated experience with Bentley Systems applications, particularly OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and ProjectWise.

  • Experience with Autodesk applications, including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and ACC/BIM 360.

  • Practical understanding of infrastructure design workflows and how digital environments support design delivery.

  • Experience working within or administering Common Data Environments (CDEs).

  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geospatial Science, or a related field - preferred

  • Associate's degree or experience in place of education

  • Experience transitioning from design-focused roles into digital delivery, CAD/BIM management, or digital practice support roles.

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Fabric.
