• Conduct individual and family counseling sessions, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring all records are up to date and clear by the end of each work shift.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and nurses, to develop and enhance each client’s therapeutic treatment plan.
• Support clients during crises by employing crisis intervention strategies and monitoring behavior for any signs of distress or needs for immediate intervention.
• Provide orientation and education to clients and their families regarding treatment goals and processes, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for healing.
• Advocate for patients by identifying additional resources and support systems in the community when necessary.

The ideal candidate will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in California.

• Demonstrated capabilities in delivering marriage and family therapy across diverse populations.
• Proficient in diagnostic assessment and treatment planning consistent with the DSM-5.

• Experience working with electronic health record systems to facilitate precise documentation of client interactions and progress.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while prioritizing the most urgent client needs effectively.
• Prior involvement in community outreach and mental health advocacy initiatives.
