About the Role
The Business Operations Analyst supports California Operations through project management, data analytics, contract administration, compliance initiatives, and strategic operational support. This role partners closely with operational leadership to identify business needs, evaluate risks, analyze performance trends, and implement solutions that improve operational effectiveness. Working with a high degree of independence, the Business Operations Analyst exercises sound judgment, manages multiple priorities, and provides actionable recommendations that support organizational goals and long-term business success.

Responsibilities

ยท Lead operational projects and strategic initiatives from planning through implementation and completion
ยท Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics to ensure successful outcomes
ยท Evaluate project requirements, risks, resource needs, and dependencies and recommend corrective actions when needed
ยท Analyze project performance and provide recommendations regarding operational improvements and resource allocation
ยท Prepare and present project status updates, analyses, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
ยท Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reports, scorecards, and performance metrics
ยท Analyze operational, contractual, and business performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
ยท Provide leadership with actionable recommendations based on data analysis and business intelligence findings
ยท Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis to support operational, financial, and strategic decisions
ยท Evaluate data integrity and reporting methodologies and recommend process improvements
ยท Support contract administration processes, including tracking requirements, deliverables, renewals, and compliance obligations
ยท Assist with RFP development, proposal coordination, contract reviews, and operational implementation activities
ยท Support state operations leadership with compliance initiatives, audits, reporting, and special projects
ยท Collaborate with internal departments including Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Quality, and Leadership teams
ยท Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and operational records
ยท Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

ยท Demonstrated experience in business operations, analytics, project management, or operational support functions
ยท Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
ยท Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
ยท Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
ยท Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
ยท Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and strong experience with Microsoft Office applications
