The role of a Licensed Therapist at Advocate Aurora is designed to be both challenging and rewarding, situated in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting. Although primarily remote, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, utilizing virtual tools to communicate effectively and provide comprehensive care. This setting promotes a collaborative approach while ensuring flexibility in your work schedule, accommodating both your and your clients' needs.

• Delivering high-quality therapeutic treatment to patients, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
• Conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment for healing.
• Participating in weekly supervision and case consultation sessions with the clinical director or designated lead therapist to enhance professional growth and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome assessments per agency requirements and regulatory standards to maintain high levels of accountability and compliance.
• Collaborating with team members to coordinate care, supporting the holistic treatment approach for each patient.

This position focuses primarily on working with child and adolescent patients and their families, providing tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders and depressive disorders. Furthermore, there will be opportunities for cross-training with adult populations, expanding your skill set and positively impacting a broader client base.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of two years of experience in counseling or therapy, preferably within a clinical environment.
• Demonstrated understanding and compliance with legal and ethical practices in a mental health setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing an ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or addressing substance misuse issues is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic methodologies and a strong commitment to continuous professional development through ongoing education and training.

• The annual salary for this position ranges between $80,000 and $104,000, dependent on experience and caseload.
