Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized therapy services, including sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based techniques to address mental health challenges.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and relational needs, crafting tailored treatment plans and setting achievable goals that promote healing and personal growth.
  • Employ family systems theory and systemic interventions to effectively manage complex family dynamics and enhance communication within relationships.
  • Offer timely crisis intervention and emotional support, ensuring safety for clients and their families during times of distress.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential client records and progress notes in compliance with all ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
  • Educate clients in best practices for communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies, supporting their emotional and relational health.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver holistic care that addresses both mental health and wellness needs.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development to remain informed about the latest best practices and methodologies in marriage and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a varied client population that includes individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds in the Nashville area. The center caters to a wide range of issues, including marital distress, parenting challenges, childhood and adolescent behaviors, and individual mental health disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate life's complexities and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Tennessee or the relevant jurisdiction where you practice.
  • Educational background that includes a Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly related to marriage and family therapy.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also being a cooperative team player.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various client needs.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience delivering outpatient therapy services is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation and client tracking.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually and is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
