As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Safe Space Behavioral Health, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of patients' mental health needs and symptoms to develop effective and tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing a diverse range of therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based interventions that suit individual client circumstances.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, enabling smooth transitions in care and continuous treatment efficacy.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and various other mental health professionals to provide holistic and integrated care.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, sharing insights and strategies that refine treatment approaches.
• Offering education and resources to patients and their families regarding mental health challenges, treatment options, and effective coping strategies.
• Staying abreast of advancements in the mental health field and weaving current research into therapy practices to enhance client outcomes.

The diverse patient population you will serve includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various other mental health concerns. By employing evidence-based treatment strategies and fostering a safe space for open dialogue, you will play a critical role in promoting mental health resilience and overall well-being among the clients and their families.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, emphasizing direct psychotherapy practice.

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, we prefer candidates with experience in trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT or DBT. Familiarity with telehealth practices will be advantageous as well.
