First Base Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to join our team. This full-time remote position, based out of our community health clinic in Palmdale, California, invites professionals passionate about making a real difference in the lives of their clients. This position is remote, offering flexibility to work from home while remaining connected through a rich digital infrastructure that includes electronic health record systems. Our team values communication and teamwork, and you will have regular check-ins and support from your colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery. The work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional life.

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of client concerns, using tools and assessments to develop personalized therapy plans that address individual needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients achieve their personal goals and fostering emotional resilience.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, ensuring a culturally inclusive approach to treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health records system to track client progress and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Act as a resource for clients, guiding them in utilizing coping mechanisms and external resources to achieve better mental health outcomes.

The clients you will work with at First Base Therapy come from diverse backgrounds, offering unique challenges that require a deep understanding of varying cultural influences on mental health. Our patient population ranges from individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues to those facing severe mental health disorders. Your expertise will play a critical role in designing individualized treatment plans and approaches that are respectful of their cultural identities.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health-related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Current licensure as a LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in the state of California.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a similar therapeutic setting.
• A strong familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Though not required, the following experiences would be beneficial:

• Experience working with an electronic health record system and a solid understanding of its functionalities.
• A background in working with diverse populations or multilingual capabilities that enhance patient rapport.

First Base Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
