Job description

Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an AI & Automation Solutions Specialist who can design, build, and implement scalable systems across the galaxy. This is a technical and client-facing role for someone who can navigate business processes like a pilot through an asteroid field. You will identify automation opportunities, educate clients on AI adoption, and turn business needs into practical technology solutions-ensuring our clients never feel like they are stuck in a "Kobayashi Maru" no-win scenario.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with AI assistants, workflow platforms, and APIs. We need someone who can guide clients from discovery to implementation, ensuring their AI journey doesn't end up like a thermal exhaust port oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Client-Facing AI & Automation Consulting

  • Meet with clients to understand workflows and pain points; essentially, perform a Vulcan Mind Meld to translate business ย ย ย ย ย requirements into technical solution designs.
  • Educate clients on AI use cases in clear, business-friendly language-no need for Binary or Klingon here.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Conversational AI & Persona Engineering

  • Design and implement AI assistants and voice solutions. You aren't just building a droid; you're building a personality.
  • Build AI personas that align with brand tone and service expectations. Whether the client needs a protocol droid or a ย ย ย ย ย Starfleet computer, you'll set the behavior guidelines.
  • Configure phone-based AI systems with reliable branching logic to ensure callers never feel like they're trapped in a tractor beam.

Automation Architecture & Workflow Design

  • Design and manage workflows that connect business systems and reduce manual effort.
  • Build scalable automations that can be monitored and improved over time-think "Engage" rather than "Wait."
  • Design error handling and escalation paths so that a single glitch doesn't lead to a total systems failure.

Endpoint Automation & Systems Management

  • Build automation within endpoint management environments to reduce technician workload.
  • Design automated monitoring and remediation workflows; your goal is to make the systems as self-sustaining as a Federation starship.
  • Create scripts and task sequences to automate local and remote actions.

Systems Integration & API Management

  • Design and document integrations between third-party and proprietary systems using APIs, webhooks, and payloads.
  • Configure secure connections using modern authentication.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and data synchronization problems with the precision of a targeting computer.

Data Reliability, Testing & Documentation

  • Maintain data accuracy across platforms.
  • Test AI and automation solutions before deployment; we refer to find the "thermal exhaust port" before the client does.
  • Create technical documentation and reusable automation templates.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience designing and building automation workflows.
  • Ability to work directly with clients in discovery and implementation settings.
  • Understanding of AI assistants, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
  • Scripting experience in one or more common languages.
  • Strong documentation skills; your reports should be as clear as a Captain's Log.
  • Ability to explain technical solutions in simple language.

Preferred Technical Competencies

  • AI assistant and Voice AI architecture.
  • Prompt engineering and AI persona development.
  • Endpoint automation and systems management.
  • API development and secure authentication.
  • Process improvement and technical documentation.

Platform Experience Preferred

  • Endpoint management and remote automation platforms.
  • Workflow automation and middleware.
  • Voice AI and conversational AI platforms.
  • CRM, PSA, and ticketing systems.
  • API testing and development tools.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a builder, a problem-solver, and a client educator. They understand how businesses operate and can identify where AI creates measurable value.

This person should be able to sit with a client, map a manual process, and build a solution that works. You should be comfortable in fast-moving environments where technology evolves at warp speed.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Clients understand how AI and automation can improve their business.
  • Manual processes are converted into reliable, documented workflows.
  • AI assistants and voice solutions are deployed with clear business value.
  • Internal teams have clear documentation and repeatable standards.
  • Client systems communicate securely and reliably, keeping the peace across the digital frontier.
