About the Position

Golden State Entertainment (GSE) is looking for a strategic and commercially-minded Producer, Brand Content & Strategy with extensive experience in the digital and linear branded content landscape. In this position, you will bridge the gap between brand marketing objectives and premium storytelling to secure and execute brand-funded content projects.

We need a candidate with a robust "rolodex" of direct brand relationships and deep connections within advertising and media agencies that manage brand content initiatives. This role requires a perfect mix of sales intuition, creative development, and business operations expertise. You must be a creative self-starter who exemplifies diligence, consistency, and a passion for scripted and unscripted content. This position reports to the Content Director, Golden State Entertainment.

This is a full-time position. While preference is given to candidates based onsite in San Francisco, CA, we are open to exceptional remote Los Angeles based talent with the right experience and network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue & Partnership Sourcing: Proactively identify and secure brand-funded content opportunities across audio, video, social and live events including digital series, brand-supported television, and podcasts that align with GSE's brand
  • Agency & Brand Liaison: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with brand reps and media/advertising agency partners to source and track brand-funded opportunities
  • Creative Strategy & Pitching: Translate brand KPIs into compelling content concepts; lead the preparation of visual and written pitch materials for potential partners
  • Internal Collaboration: Partner with internal Corporate Partnership teams to provide creative strategy and storytelling support for existing and prospective organization partners
  • Project Leadership: Spearhead the development and production aspects of both digital and linear branded content to ensure creative excellence and partner satisfaction
  • Business Operations: Manage project-specific production budgets, timelines, and business logistics to ensure commercial viability and ROI
  • Market Intelligence: Keep up to date on industry trends within the ad-supported and brand-funded content space
  • Brand Advocacy: Represent GSE with external partners, upholding brand standards and a commitment to inclusive storytelling and IP innovation
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing/Communication/Film and Television, or equivalent work experience
  • 3 - 5 years in branded content development, partnership sales, or creative strategy for an entertainment/production/media company or reputable advertising agency that sources work directly from brands or agencies
  • Track record of securing brand funding through both direct-to-brand and agency-led channels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation software (e.g., Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to "sell" a creative vision to corporate stakeholders
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while managing client expectations and production deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Production: Hands-on experience with self-shooting (DSLR/Mirrorless cameras) and audio capture
  • Post-Production: Proficiency in light non-linear editing (Adobe Premiere Pro) to create sizzle reels, social teasers, or pitch assets

Portfolio: A reel or portfolio demonstrating a strong visual aesthetic and storytelling capability.

Compensation

  • $75,000 Per Year + Bonus
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for employees and dependents
  • Employer 401K match
  • Vacation, Summer Half-Day Fridays and a generous paid time off plan for pregnancy and parental leaves
  • Warriors home tickets, team store discount and more!
