We are looking for an Apparel Production Associate Manager to support the planning and execution of premium and custom apparel manufacturing in Ventura, California. This contract opportunity is ideal for a project management specialist who can balance timelines, quality expectations, and budget goals in a fast-paced production environment. The role works across teams to keep materials, schedules, and deliverables aligned while ensuring finished goods meet company and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
• Direct daily production planning for specialty and high-end apparel programs, ensuring milestones are met from development through completion.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to organize workflows, resolve scheduling conflicts, and keep manufacturing activities on track.
• Establish and uphold product quality checkpoints to maintain consistency, craftsmanship, and brand expectations.
• Oversee material and finished goods inventory to support uninterrupted production and accurate stock availability.
• Track production spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and help maintain performance within approved budgets.
• Ensure manufacturing practices follow applicable regulations, internal policies, and required compliance standards.
• Communicate status updates, risks, and priorities clearly to stakeholders involved in apparel production and delivery.• 3+ years of experience in apparel production, project management, or a closely related manufacturing environment.
• Background coordinating production for textiles, fashion, or custom apparel programs.
• Working knowledge of project management principles, including scheduling, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple production timelines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Experience supporting quality control, inventory oversight, and cost-conscious decision-making in a production setting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Associate degree in Apparel Production or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with global manufacturing environments is a plus.
