Job description

National Account Executive
Martin One Source Remote or Hybrid Travel Required
About Martin One Source
For more than 35 years, Martin One Source has helped organizations strengthen their brands through innovative printing, apparel, promotional products, signage, vehicle graphics, branded merchandise, online stores, and marketing solutions.
From healthcare systems and educational institutions to manufacturers, municipalities, nonprofits, racing organizations, and Fortune 500 companies, our customers trust us to deliver quality products, exceptional service, and creative solutions that help their organizations stand out.
As we continue to expand nationally, we're looking for experienced sales professionals who are passionate about building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping customers solve complex branding and communication challenges.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a driven National Account Executive to develop new business, grow strategic customer relationships, and expand Martin One Source's presence across the United States.
This is not a transactional sales role.
You'll serve as a trusted business advisor, helping customers find the right combination of products and services to strengthen their brand, improve efficiencies, and achieve their business goals.
Whether you're working with a healthcare organization launching a patient communication campaign, a manufacturer updating safety signage, a school district opening an online spirit wear store, or a national company managing multiple locations, you'll have the resources and support to deliver complete branding solutions.
What You'll Do
Develop New Business
Identify, pursue, and secure new national and regional accounts through:
  • Prospecting
  • Networking
  • Referrals
  • Industry events
  • Trade shows
  • LinkedIn and digital outreach
  • Existing relationships
  • Strategic partnerships

Build long-term customer relationships that generate recurring business.
Grow Existing Accounts
Develop trusted partnerships with existing customers by identifying opportunities to expand their use of Martin One Source's products and services.
Recommend solutions including:
  • Commercial Printing
  • Apparel Decoration
  • Promotional Products
  • Branded Merchandise
  • Online Company Stores
  • Vehicle Graphics
  • Signage
  • Direct Mail
  • Marketing Materials
  • Fulfillment Services
  • Wide Format Printing

Focus on becoming a strategic partner-not just a vendor.
Consultative Selling
Take time to understand each customer's business, challenges, and goals.
Develop customized solutions that create value while delivering measurable business results.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure every project exceeds customer expectations.
Account Management
Maintain strong relationships by:
  • Conducting regular customer visits
  • Scheduling quarterly business reviews
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction
  • Following up after completed projects
  • Identifying additional opportunities
  • Resolving issues quickly and professionally

Territory Development
Manage a defined territory or national customer portfolio by:
  • Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
  • Forecasting future revenue
  • Tracking sales activities in CRM
  • Achieving annual sales and profitability goals
  • Identifying emerging markets and industries

Collaboration
Work closely with:
  • Customer Service Representatives
  • Marketing
  • Production
  • Estimating
  • Creative Services
  • Operations
  • Executive Leadership

Ensure customers receive exceptional service from proposal through delivery.
You'll Thrive Here If You...
  • Love building relationships.
  • Enjoy solving customer problems.
  • Think like a business consultant rather than a salesperson.
  • Are self-motivated and highly organized.
  • Can manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Enjoy networking and meeting new people.
  • Take ownership of your results.
  • Are comfortable presenting to executives and decision-makers.
  • Have strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Success in This Role
Within your first year, you'll:
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Expand existing customer accounts through cross-selling.
  • Become a trusted advisor to your customers.
  • Represent Martin One Source professionally at industry events and customer meetings.
  • Contribute to the continued national growth of the company.

Requirements
We're looking for someone with a proven history of business development and relationship management.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of outside sales, business development, or account management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed throughout assigned territories.

Industry Experience
Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly desirable:
  • Commercial Printing
  • Promotional Products
  • Apparel Decoration
  • Packaging
  • Manufacturing
  • Healthcare
  • Education
  • Municipal Government
  • Marketing Services
  • Distribution
  • Branded Merchandise

Experience selling multiple product lines or solution-based services is strongly preferred.
Technology & Tools
Experience with the following is a plus:
  • CRM platforms (NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Microsoft 365
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Proposal and quoting software
  • Virtual meeting platforms

Comfort using technology to manage customer relationships, sales activities, and forecasting is expected.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe exceptional performance deserves exceptional rewards.
We offer:
  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Performance incentives
  • Travel reimbursement
  • Company technology
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Paid time off
  • Retirement savings opportunities

Why Martin One Source?
At Martin One Source, you'll represent a company with decades of industry experience, an outstanding reputation, and a diverse portfolio of products and services.
Unlike companies that offer only one solution, you'll have the ability to solve a wide variety of customer challenges through commercial printing, apparel, promotional products, branded merchandise, vehicle graphics, online stores, fulfillment services, and marketing support.
If you're passionate about building relationships, developing new business, and helping organizations strengthen their brands, you'll find unlimited opportunity to grow your career with Martin One Source.
Join a company where your success directly contributes to our continued growth-and where your ideas, initiative, and entrepreneurial spirit are valued every day.
Compensation: Commission Only
Expected Earnings: $75,000-$200,000+ annually (based on sales performance)
