• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients entering the detox program.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists, to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans that align with best practices.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems such as .
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, adjust treatment strategies as necessary, and ensure a unified approach to care.
• Provide direct counseling and therapy sessions, addressing issues such as substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and recovery strategies.
• Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, helping them develop coping strategies and understanding the importance of aftercare services.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions, workshops, and educational webinars offered by the organization.

You will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use, often facing co-occurring mental health disorders. Understanding the complex psychological and emotional needs of this population is essential to providing effective care. Your empathetic approach will help foster trust and safety, key components for successful treatment outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, which qualifies you for state licensure.
• A valid LCSW license in California, with proven competence and dedication to ethical clinical practices.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience as an LCSW, preferably within a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, critical for building rapport with patients and collaborating with a diverse team.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment.

While the minimum requirement is two years of clinical experience, candidates with prior experience working specifically in detox centers or with patients facing addiction issues will be prioritized. Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based treatment modalities is highly advantageous.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000.
