Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments and utilizing standardized screening tools to evaluate mental health conditions.
• Collecting extensive background information, including mental status exams and trauma histories, to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies.
• Collaborating with clients to design personalized treatment plans targeting specific mental health issues, using trauma-informed and culturally competent methods.
• Delivering evidence-based psychotherapy sessions, employing techniques tailored to individual needs such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices.
• Connecting clients with community resources and ancillary services to ensure comprehensive care and support.
• Continuously assessing treatment effectiveness, adjusting intervention strategies based on client feedback and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele served includes a broad spectrum of demographics—children, adults, couples, and families—all experiencing a range of mental health issues from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship challenges. You will be directly involved in fostering a safe and empathetic space for each client, which is crucial for their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you will need:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, along with a current license or registration as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT from the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a therapeutic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in adhering to established policies and procedures, while demonstrating the ability to make sound judgments in clinical situations.

Preferred Experience

Experience in crisis counseling and the ability to work with various populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy tools will also enhance your integration into our team and improve patient care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
