• Provide therapeutic services to clients presenting with an array of issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, fostering an environment of trust and safety.
• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake interviews, to formulate accurate diagnoses and define client goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and person-centered counseling.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage personal insight and coping strategies.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support for clients in distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation that aligns with ethical standards, state regulations, and clinic policies, ensuring compliance and enhancing continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver comprehensive mental health care tailored to each client’s needs.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your expertise and participate in mentorship activities to guide newer counselors and clinical interns.

Your work will support a diverse range of clients, including adults facing mood disorders, children and adolescents navigating behavioral issues, and couples seeking relationship counseling. We are dedicated to addressing trauma, grief, stress, and life transitions within all demographics, ensuring culturally sensitive and inclusive practice.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from a program accredited by the appropriate accrediting body.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in therapy or counseling, ideally in an outpatient or community mental health setting.
• Solid understanding of ethical principles and confidentiality laws governing mental health counseling practices.

• Experience working in trauma, grief counseling, or couples therapy is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in a range of therapeutic modalities and strong clinical assessment skills.
• Commitment to providing culturally responsive care that honors diverse client backgrounds.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience along with performance-based incentives.
