You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Requirements Division of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.

  • You will interpret and correlate large amounts of complex information from multiple sources when developing strategies to support command requirements initiatives and generation processes.
  • You will interpret and translate operational deficiencies into various requirements documents.
  • You will articulate viable recommendations for determining specific program/project requirements.
  • You will work closely with peer and senior action officers to resolve and/or clarify complex issues with short suspense in support of command goals.
  • You will serve as a liaison for assisting in the development of Operational Deficiency Reports (ODRs) that describe command operations deficiencies.

  • This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. You will be required to sign a DD-Form-2760, Qualification to possess firearms or ammunition.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing system acquisition and milestone reviews, capability integration systems (JCDS and SOFCIDS), and defense budget process; apply evaluative fact finding development, leveraging organizational structures to identify and resolve complex requirements discrepancies; planning, organizing, and guiding joint military and civilian personnel to develop vital requirements documentation while independently navigating and resolving conflicting viewpoints among stakeholders.
