Job description

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Make a Difference Every Day!
Are you an LVT who loves variety, teamwork, and making a meaningful difference for animals and the people who care for them? We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled, and enthusiastic Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our mission-driven veterinary team!
Our clinic is committed to increasing access to quality veterinary care and improving the lives of animals throughout our community. You’ll work alongside 5 veterinarians and an experienced, supportive team in a collaborative environment where your skills are valued and there are plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Position Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

What You’ll Do
Every day brings something a little different, but your main responsibilities will include:
  • Assist with a high-volume spay/neuter program

  • Perform and assist with:
    • Digital radiographs (X-rays)
    • Ultrasounds
    • Blood draws and laboratory procedures
    • Anesthesia and patient monitoring

  • Assist with urgent and emergency cases

  • Support veterinary care related to court/forensic cases

  • Provide medical care and support for animals in our adoption center
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Communicate with clients and help provide excellent patient care
  • Work as part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellent medicine and animal welfare
Opportunities to Learn & Grow
We believe in helping our team members continue to develop their skills. Depending on interest and experience, opportunities may include:
  • Training and exposure to CT imaging

  • Expanded experience in shelter medicine

  • Advanced surgical experience
  • Urgent and emergency care
  • Forensic and court-related veterinary medicine
  • Opportunities to learn from and collaborate with multiple veterinarians
❤️ Our Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • A licensed veterinary technician with strong technical and patient-handling skills
  • Comfortable and confident in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to excellent patient care
  • Passionate about animal welfare and increasing access to veterinary care

  • A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
  • Curious and eager to learn new skills and grow professionally

Why Join Us?
This is more than a veterinary technician position—it’s an opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference.

You’ll gain exposure to a unique combination of surgery, shelter medicine, urgent care, diagnostics, and forensic veterinary work, while working with a team that cares deeply about animals, their families, and our community.
We are not part of a corporation, and never will be. If you’re looking for meaningful work, a supportive team, and the opportunity to grow your veterinary skills while helping animals every day, we’d love to meet you!
