Job description

CodePath is the largest educator of college computer science students in the country. We have trained over 40,000 students from 1,000+ universities. Our partners include Amazon, Google, Meta, and 4,000+ companies across the industry. We've been training the next generation of technical talent for nearly a decade, and we just launched a $150M initiative with Anthropic, building one of the most ambitious AI workforce programs in the world.
We're now expanding into new markets and scaling our team so we can move at the speed AI is transforming the workforce. People joining CodePath now will have the opportunity to help architect the next frontier of our work.
We are building toward millions of learners, hundreds of millions in revenue, and billions in economic impact for a generation of technical talent who have historically been locked out of tech. If you want to own something and be part of a 0-to-1 journey at an organization moving at the speed of AI, we think you'd love it here.
About the Role
Location: Remote, United States
Role Type: Contract, Full-Time
Duration: 6 months
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Talent Engagement
Compensation: $85,000 to $110,000 per year (annualized; pro-rated for the 6-month term)
CodePath is rebuilding computer science education for an AI-native generation, and we are hiring the engineers who will build it. Our 2025 work carried one theme: engineering the future of AI-native tech for a workforce in transition. We grew student enrollment 47% year over year, our graduates earn a $95,000 median first-year salary, and in 2025 alone our alumni generated an estimated $1 billion in economic impact. In 2026 we are partnering with Anthropic to put frontier AI tools, including Claude and Claude Code, in the hands of more than 20,000 students across community colleges, state universities, and HBCUs.
We are looking for a Technical Recruiter who wants an outsized impact on that growth. You will help us scale toward 100,000 students and toward training engineers who will generate over $1.5T in wealth for low-income communities over the next 20 years. The people you hire will build AI-native curriculum, learning experiences, and programs that reach students traditional CS education leaves behind.
CodePath is an AI-native organization that moves with the pace and ownership culture of a technical startup. In this role, autonomy isn't a perk - it's the expectation. You'll bring creativity, sharp judgment, and the ability to build trust quickly with the people around you.
We hold a high bar for the work and for how we work together. If you're energized by fast-moving environments and want your contributions to be visible, you'll fit here.
This is a 6-month contract position.
How you will work
We recruit AI-first. You will be expected to use AI tools to source faster, screen sharper, and spend more of your time on the human judgment that actually moves a hire. We do not want AI to replace your read on a candidate. We want it to clear the busywork so your read gets more attention, not less.
Key Activities
  • Bring great people into CodePath who will accelerate our work to make opportunity as evenly distributed as talent for people pursuing software engineering careers
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to raise the quality of candidates in the interview pipeline
  • Execute strategies to identify, attract, and engage the best talent across sourcing, referrals, first-round screening, and more
  • Use AI tooling across the recruiting workflow to compress time-to-offer without lowering the bar
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience with high-touch coordination
  • Operate comfortably with ambiguity and build structure where it is needed

Qualifications
Key qualifications
  • Deeply motivated by CodePath's mission to transform computer science education for an AI-native generation
  • 3+ years of talent engagement experience in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience owning technical roles like software and data engineering, product management, and data science
  • Comfort using AI tools in your own work, and a point of view on where they help recruiting and where human judgment has to stay in the loop
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with tools like Gem, Greenhouse, LinkedIn, and G Suite
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted sourcing, screening, or outreach tools
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Understanding of recruiting best practices and interviewer compliance

Compensation
CodePath has standardized salaries based on the position's level, no matter where you live. For this role, we're hiring for a mid level position at an annual salary of $85,000 to $110,000. Salary is determined based on your relevant experience and skills as evaluated through our interview process.
Pay range
$85,000-$110,000 USD
