This role offers the opportunity to shape compliance strategies for innovative digital products used by a global audience.
You will work at the intersection of law, technology, marketing, and product development.
The position focuses on ensuring digital experiences meet evolving regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks, guide decisions, and build scalable compliance practices.

Accountabilities:

As a Product Compliance Counsel, you will help ensure that products, marketing initiatives, and business processes comply with applicable laws and platform requirements. You will collaborate with product, marketing, and operational teams to assess risks, provide legal guidance, and support the development of effective compliance frameworks.

  • Review and approve product specifications, user journeys, monetization models, and digital features to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Support product compliance audits, incident response processes, and corrective action implementation.
  • Review marketing materials, advertising campaigns, and promotional claims to ensure alignment with consumer protection regulations and platform policies.
  • Advise marketing teams on compliance requirements across different regions and support campaign reviews.
  • Monitor regulatory developments affecting digital products, AI governance, consumer protection, advertising, and platform regulations.
  • Communicate legal updates and support teams in implementing required operational changes.
  • Monitor sanctions-related regulatory developments and assist with internal sanctions compliance controls.
  • Develop compliance awareness initiatives, including internal training materials, onboarding resources, playbooks, and knowledge documentation.
  • Review AI-powered products, features, and third-party AI integrations to support legal compliance and responsible AI governance.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a legally trained professional with strong knowledge of digital product regulations and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-moving technology environment. You should combine legal expertise with practical business judgment and a strong interest in emerging technologies.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or a related legal discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer protection laws in the European Union and the United States.
  • Experience with marketing and advertising compliance requirements across EU and US markets.
  • Understanding of digital legislation, technology regulations, and AI governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher).
  • Ability to analyze complex regulatory topics and translate legal requirements into practical business guidance.
  • Strong collaboration skills with product, marketing, technology, and business teams.
  • Interest in digital platforms, AI technologies, and evolving regulatory landscapes.
