Job description

About Us

Kaleidoscope Interventions is a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting neurodivergent children, young adults, and families through compassionate, evidence-based care. Our work is rooted in dignity, connection, practical skill-building, and family empowerment.

We are currently seeking a part-time, work-from-home BCBA who specializes in parent training and family support. This role is ideal for a BCBA who enjoys coaching caregivers, building confidence in families, and helping parents understand how to support their child in real-life situations.

Position Summary

The Parent Training BCBA will provide remote parent training, caregiver coaching, and behavior-support guidance to families. This position is not designed as a high-volume field supervision role. The primary focus is helping parents and guardians understand behavior, strengthen communication, build consistency at home, and support meaningful progress.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, organized, and able to explain behavioral principles in a way that families can understand and apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote parent training and caregiver coaching
  • Develop practical parent-training goals and support plans
  • Help families understand behavior through a compassionate, evidence-based lens
  • Teach caregivers strategies for communication, routines, emotional regulation, transitions, reinforcement, and behavior reduction
  • Review family concerns and provide realistic strategies for the home and community
  • Document parent-training sessions in accordance with company and funding requirements
  • Collaborate with internal leadership and clinical team members as needed
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and family-centered communication
  • Support parents in building confidence, consistency, and connection with their child or young adult

Required Qualifications

  • Current BCBA certification in good standing
  • Experience providing parent training or caregiver coaching
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis and ethical clinical practice
  • Ability to communicate clearly with families in a supportive and nonjudgmental way
  • Strong documentation and time-management skills
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
  • Ability to pass required background screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with neurodivergent children, teens, or young adults
  • Experience with autism, developmental disabilities, communication challenges, and behavior-support planning
  • Experience with telehealth or remote caregiver training
  • Familiarity with insurance documentation requirements
  • Warm, collaborative, family-centered approach

Schedule

This is a part-time, remote position with flexible scheduling based on family needs and program availability. Some evening availability may be helpful to accommodate working parents.

Compensation

Competitive part-time hourly or contract rate, based on experience and availability.

Why Join Us?

This role is a meaningful opportunity for a BCBA who wants to make a direct impact on families without the demands of a traditional full-time clinic or field-based caseload. You will help parents feel more equipped, more confident, and more connected as they support their child or young adult at home.

To Apply

Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your experience with parent training, caregiver coaching, and family-centered ABA services.

Kaleidoscope Interventions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values compassionate professionals who believe every family deserves support, dignity, and hope.
