Part-Time Talent Acquisition Specialist (China)

Location: Remote (Must align with China Standard Time)

Commitment: 10โ€“20 hours per week (Scalable based on pipeline)

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to spearhead our expansion within Mainland China. In this role, you will act as our "cultural bridge," identifying top-tier talent and navigating the specific nuances of the Chinese labor market. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycleโ€”from localized sourcing and initial engagement to final offer negotiationsโ€”ensuring a seamless experience for both hiring managers and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Targeted Sourcing: Leverage the Chinese recruitment ecosystem (Liepin, Boss Zhipin, Maimai, and WeChat) to identify and engage high-caliber passive talent.
  • Candidate Vetting: Conduct rigorous initial screenings and cultural-fit assessments in both Mandarin and English.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a sustainable talent bench for HW/SW), AR/VR/MR Systems, Optical Engineering, or specialized Hardware Engineering roles
  • Market Intelligence: Act as a subject matter expert on Chinese salary benchmarks, competitor movements, and localized employment trends.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate clear communication between overseas hiring managers and local candidates, managing expectations regarding global workflows and local norms.

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Native or professional fluency in Mandarin and English.
  • Recruitment Expertise: 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a proven track record specifically within the Mainland China market.
  • Platform Mastery: Expert-level command of Chinese job boards (Boss Zhipin, Liepin, Zhaopin) and professional social networks (Maimai).
  • Autonomy: A self-starter capable of operating independently across time zones with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

  • Technical Familiarity: Prior experience recruiting for Technology (HW/SW), AR/VR/MR Systems, Optical Engineering, or specialized Hardware roles.)
  • Strategic Network: An existing professional network in Tier 1 hubs (Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen).
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with local labor laws, social insurance (the "Five Insurances"), and standard contract norms in China.
