This position operates primarily in a remote setting to facilitate flexibility while serving students and families comprehensively. You will collaborate closely with school personnel, including teachers, administrators, and counselors, to create a supportive environment that promotes student well-being. Though remote, you will occasionally attend special events or outreach programs, requiring some availability during evenings or weekends.

• Conduct thorough assessments of students' social, emotional, and psychological needs through structured interviews and surveys to craft personalized intervention strategies.
• Deliver high-quality individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Design and implement comprehensive service plans that align with clients' goals, ensuring clear documentation and progress monitoring.
• Advocate for students' rights, coordinating with educational staff and community resources to facilitate access to necessary support services.
• Contribute to the development of educational materials and programs addressing mental health issues, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to implement these initiatives effectively.
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance practice and stay informed about best practices in social work.
• Assist in the evaluation of programs and outcomes, participating in grant reporting and documentation processes to secure funding and continue providing vital services.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and their families, addressing a range of challenges from behavioral issues to mental health disorders. You will be instrumental in providing support to marginalized and disadvantaged community members, ensuring that all clients receive equitable treatment and resources. Your work will directly influence students' academic success and emotional resilience.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required prior to starting.
• Strong foundation in trauma-informed care and social justice principles is essential for effective practice within this role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication, empathetic nature, and organizational skills to foster a positive therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Prior experience working within a nonprofit organization or educational environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
• Experience in program development or involvement in grant-funded programs is a plus.
