Director, Pharmacy Services

Manteca, California

Assists in Directing, coordinating and supervising activities in the DHM Pharmacy including purchasing, receiving, storing, compounding and dispensing drugs. Consults with and advises the medical staff and personnel involved with patient care regarding the utilization of drugs and pharmaceutical items. Provides input to Director of Pharmacy regarding selection of vendors and inspection of pharmaceutical items received. Provides input to Director of Pharmacy for establishing and maintaining policies and procedures for the Pharmacy. Performs other duties as required.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

California State registration as a pharmacist.

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
