Orlando Health is seeking a dedicated Supervisor, Pharmacy Services to provide leadership, operational oversight, and clinical support within our Pharmacy Services team. This position combines hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care while supporting the development and success of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

What You'll Do

As the Supervisor, Pharmacy Services, you will:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for pharmacy operations within assigned service areas.

  • Perform all responsibilities of a licensed pharmacist while supporting daily clinical and operational needs.

  • Supervise pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

  • Coordinate staffing schedules to support operational and clinical goals.

  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and mentoring new pharmacy team members.

  • Coach, develop, and evaluate team members to promote professional growth and performance excellence.

  • Partner with pharmacy leadership to develop, implement, and improve pharmacy policies, procedures, and workflows.

  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, medication safety programs, and regulatory compliance efforts.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication management and patient outcomes.

  • Participate in management meetings to support strategic planning, budgeting, and operational improvements.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

  • Ensure compliance with all Orlando Health policies, accreditation standards, and state and federal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

  • Current Florida Pharmacist license, or the ability to obtain Florida licensure within four (4) months of hire.

  • One (1) year of hospital pharmacy experience or completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous pharmacy leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Experience in an acute care hospital or health system.

  • Knowledge of medication safety, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing operational improvements.

  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
