These services use databases, geolocation tools, postal records, and sometimes user-provided documents to confirm that an address is valid and belongs to the specified person or entity. They are commonly used for fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and ensuring secure delivery of goods or services. Remote address verification is especially important for online businesses and financial institutions that need to verify customer information remotely.
