About Us

We are a residential design-build firm founded in 2007 by a carpenter. We focus on high-end remodeling and historic home renovations in Cambridge and the surround area. We keep a tight, organized team and run a localized, steady pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master Craftsmanship: Execute precise residential remodeling work across all phases, including complex structural framing, historic layout corrections, window/door installations, and finish carpentry.
  • On-Site Leadership: Supervise daily field operations, manage job-site safety/cleanliness, and direct in-house labor effectively.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Maintain the project schedule by acting as the main point of contact for mechanicals and specialized trades on-site.
  • Plan Interpretation: Read, interpret, and execute architectural drawings and design schematics flawlessly, proactively catching field discrepancies.
  • Client & Production Relations: Act as a professional, clean-cut representative of the company on-site, providing friendly, clear updates to clients and collaborating closely with our Project Manager.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 7+ years of dedicated residential remodeling experience, with a proven track record in a Lead or Working Foreman role.
  • Historic Home Expertise: Strong familiarity with the unique framing, settling, and architectural challenges of historic Greater Boston and New England homes.
  • Tools & Transport: Must own a comprehensive set of hand and power tools appropriate for a Lead Carpenter, along with a reliable, clean truck or van capable of transporting materials.
  • Licensing: A valid Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) is highly preferred; a clean driver's license is required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high emotional intelligence for client management, and an organized mindset. Team
  • Leadership Style: Must be a good leader with a mellow, level-headed attitude. We want someone who can direct a crew, teach apprentices, and handle unexpected site problems calmly without losing their temper or stressing out the team.
