WES-TEX Construction & Remodeling is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for residential remodeling and construction projects. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating crews, maintaining quality and safety standards, ensuring projects remain on schedule, and delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and team members.
The ideal candidate is an experienced residential construction professional who leads by example, communicates effectively, and takes pride in producing quality work while fostering a respectful and accountable jobsite culture.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily field operations on residential remodeling and construction projects.
- Supervise crew members and coordinate daily work to maintain productivity and project schedules.
- Perform and oversee framing layout, wall framing, window and door framing, and other structural carpentry work.
- Complete and oversee finish carpentry, including cabinetry, trim, baseboards, casing, crown molding, siding, soffit, fascia, and exterior finishes.
- Assist with drywall, painting, punch-list items, and general remodeling tasks as needed.
- Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project scopes to ensure accurate field execution.
- Represent WES-TEX professionally when interacting with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
- Mentor crew members and help build a positive team culture based on respect, accountability, and quality craftsmanship.
Qualifications- 5+ years of residential construction, remodeling, carpentry, or field leadership experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of residential construction, including framing, finish carpentry, drywall, painting, trim, and general remodeling.
- Experience performing complete framing layout, including slab layout, wall framing, window openings, and door openings.
- Previous experience leading or supervising construction crews preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret residential construction plans and specifications.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Must possess standard hand tools commonly used in residential construction and carpentry.
- Dependable, organized, and committed to producing high-quality work.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work respectfully in occupied and high-end residential homes.
Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check, consistent with applicable law.
Pay and Benefits- Full-time, W-2 employment
- Pay: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime opportunities may be available based on project workload and schedules

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. Occasional flexibility may be required based on project schedules and client needs.
