Job description

We are seeking a versatile and motivated Construction Remodeling Laborer to assist with a wide variety of residential remodeling and construction projects. In this role, you will work hands-on across multiple trades, supporting everything from interior residential renovations to exterior framing and additions. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, possesses a strong work ethic, is eager to learn, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. (Pay is based on experience) 

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Construction & Remodeling: Assist with day-to-day residential remodeling tasks, including interior demolition, framing, drywall, and installing flooring.
  • Exterior Additions & Structures: Help build structural additions, custom decks, pavilions, porches, and porch roofs.
  • Basic Trade Support: Perform general residential plumbing tasks (e.g., running lines, setting fixtures) and basic residential electrical work (e.g., rough-ins, switching/lighting updates) under proper guidance.
  • Site Preparation & Maintenance: Set up tools, prep job sites, handle building materials, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the remodeling process.
  • Team Collaboration: Take direction from project leads and work efficiently alongside team members to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to our high standards of quality.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous professional experience in residential construction, remodeling, or a related carpentry/handyman trade preferred.
  • Skills: * Basic knowledge of residential carpentry, framing, and remodeling processes.
    • Familiarity with general residential plumbing and basic electrical systems is a strong plus.
    • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50+ lbs routinely, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Transport: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, punctual, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to worksite safety.
