Experienced Remodeling Carpenter / InstallerFull-Time | Daily Overtime Opportunity | Company Truck & Tools Provided

ZVA Construction, LLC is a fast-growing, established residential remodeling company based in Mount Holly, NJ. We are looking for an experienced Remodeling Carpenter / Installer to join our team full-time.

This position is best suited for someone with strong hands-on remodeling experience who wants steady, year-round work, daily overtime opportunity, and long-term growth with a professional company.

We are looking for someone who wants more than just another job. The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, coachable, and interested in building a long-term future with an established remodeling company.

We are not looking for someone who only knows one trade. We are looking for a well-rounded remodeling carpenter who can work on a variety of residential projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, windows, doors, trim, framing, drywall, flooring, decks, porches, and general renovations.

This is a long-term career opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality work, shows up on time, works efficiently, follows company systems, and wants to grow with an organized, professional remodeling company.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional residential remodeling or carpentry experience
  • Ability to work independently after receiving clear direction
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong work ethic and consistent attendance
  • Professional appearance and communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining quality
  • Comfortable working full construction days with consistent overtime
  • Comfortable using basic technology, such as a smartphone or tablet, for time tracking, job notes, photos, schedules, and company communication

Applicants who do not have professional remodeling or carpentry experience will not be considered.

Schedule

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position.

Our crews typically work approximately 10-hour days, which provides consistent daily overtime opportunity. Start times are generally early morning and may vary slightly depending on project location, weather, and workload.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for completing a variety of residential remodeling and carpentry tasks, including but not limited to:

Carpentry & Installation

  • Installation of replacement windows
  • Interior prehung door installation
  • Exterior entry door and sliding patio door installation
  • Baseboard, casing, crown molding, and custom trim installation
  • Accurate miter cuts and clean finish joints
  • Cabinet installation, including proper leveling, fastening, and joining
  • Flooring installation, including floating floors, hardwood, tile, and similar materials

Framing, Drywall & Interior Finishes

  • Rough framing
  • Framing modifications for remodeling projects
  • Drywall hanging, patching, repairs, and finish prep
  • Painting and finish work as needed
  • Clean and professional jobsite protection

Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling

  • Kitchen and bathroom demolition
  • Cabinet installation
  • Tile shower and tile flooring installation
  • Waterproofing system installation
  • Backer board/substrate preparation
  • Grouting, caulking, and finish details

Exterior & Structural Work

  • Safe and efficient demolition
  • Deck and porch construction
  • Addition and renovation framing
  • Exterior door and window openings
  • General exterior remodeling work

Plans & Layouts

  • Ability to read and understand basic architectural plans and drawings
  • Follow project layouts and framing details
  • Apply plans to basement renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and other remodeling projects
