Job description

Job Title: Lead Remodeling Technician
Job Summary:
DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of NW Arkansas, a leading Design/Build remodeling company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Remodeling Technician to join our team in Rogers, Arkansas. The Lead Remodeling Technician is responsible for hands-on execution and on-site management of bath and kitchen remodeling projects - from framing through finish work - ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, code compliance, and an excellent customer experience. This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation and benefits.

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of NW Arkansas is a female, family-owned design/build firm focused primarily on interior bath & kitchen renovations. We are locally owned and operated and part of a 45-member and growing franchise network across the US. We take clients from design through product selection/procurement to remodel completion - a true one-stop shop. Our brick-and-mortar Design Center is located in the Pinnacle Hills/One Uptown area of Rogers, where we meet face-to-face with clients about their design, product selection, and project needs.

Compensation & Benefits:

Trade Skills & Competencies associated with kitchen and bath remodeling (Required):
  • Carpentry: rough and finish carpentry, framing modifications, door/window installation
  • Tile: layout and installation of floor and wall tile, backsplash, and shower surrounds (including waterproofing systems)
  • Drywall: hanging, taping, mudding, and texture matching
  • Trim & Millwork: baseboard, casing, crown molding, and custom trim installation
  • Cabinetry: installation and leveling of base/wall/tall cabinets, hardware, and built-ins
  • Flooring: installation of hardwood, LVP, and other flooring types common to kitchen/bath remodels
  • Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical rough-in/finish as it relates to kitchen and bath remodeling (not licensed trade work, but able to coordinate and identify issues)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Execute and manage the renovation of the project space per the approved design, performing or overseeing carpentry, tile, drywall, cabinetry, trim, flooring, and painting work
  • Stay current on building code requirements relevant to remodeling work
  • Review production procedures and schedule before project start
  • Review material staging and confirm readiness prior to project start
  • Attend preconstruction meetings
  • Attend weekly or daily meetings to allocate resources and coordinate trades/subcontractors
  • Set up jobsite dust and floor protection; maintain a clean, organized jobsite throughout the project
  • Communicate job progress regularly to homeowners and the Production Manager
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and wear DreamMaker-approved clothing
  • Complete the job completion checklist and review it with the client at project close
  • Complete daily project reporting in DreamMaker/JobTread software
  • Follow the DreamMaker Code of Values

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in residential construction or remodeling, with demonstrated work in carpentry, tile, drywall, trim, cabinetry, and flooring
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and direct a team and subcontractors effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Self-starter, able to work independently without constant supervision
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in varying physical conditions
