  • Complete assigned carpentry tasks with increasing independence and limited supervision
  • Read measurements, follow plans, and perform accurate layouts and cuts
  • Participate in daily job-site setup and cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and construction materials
  • Assist with installing cabinets, doors, windows, trim, millwork, fixtures, and other finish materials
  • Maintain and properly care for tools and equipment
  • Help manage supplies and communicate material needs to project leads
  • Support dust containment, surface protection, site security, and job-site cleanliness
  • Identify potential issues and communicate questions or concerns before work proceeds
  • Work collaboratively with lead carpenters, apprentices, subcontractors, and Project Managers
  • Follow company procedures, project specifications, and all job-site safety requirements
  • Represent Hamtil Construction professionally when interacting with clients and trade partners

Qualifications

  • At least two years of residential remodeling required
  • Working knowledge of demolition, framing, drywall, trim, and general carpentry practices
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure and common hand and power tools
  • Experience using cordless drills, circular saws, miter saws, table saws, and other standard carpentry equipment
  • Ability to perform assigned work independently while knowing when to ask for guidance
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to continue developing within the remodeling trade
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and clients
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and professional job site
  • Comfortable using mobile devices and other job-related technology
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, work overhead, kneel, bend, and lift up to 80 pounds
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime
  • Basic hand tools and appropriate work boots required; additional equipment will be provided

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive pay of $20-$23 per hour, based on experience and skill level
  • Weekly pay through direct deposit
  • Comprehensive health insurance
  • Paid holidays and vacation time
  • Stable, year-round employment with approximately 40 hours per week
