At Stone Pillar Construction, the Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in delivering high-quality residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in residential construction and grow into a Project Manager.

This is a hands-on role that combines field work and coordination. You will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and homeowners to help ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet our quality standards.

This position is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction and grow into a Project Manager role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist in managing residential remodeling projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and day-to-day job site activity
  • Communicate with homeowners, subcontractors, inspectors, and designers
  • Support schedule management and job progress tracking (Buildertrend)
  • Help identify and solve job site issues proactively
  • Ensure work aligns with plans, selections, and quality expectations
  • Assist with punch lists and project closeout
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites (often in occupied homes)
