Mak Design & Build - Residential Remodeling Project Manager

Are you a talented and self-motivated remodeling professional with a passion for craftsmanship and collaboration? Can you inspire and lead a team to a zero-punch list mentality through each project? Do you get satisfaction from bettering both the processes and finished products related to residential remodeling? Do you like working with a creative remodeling team to see a project through from conception to completion? If so then you might thrive as a Residential Remodeling Project Manager with MAK Design + Build!

The role of the Project Manager (PM) is to successfully manage and build medium to large-scale residential remodeling projects in partnership with a Lead Carpenter, the Construction Manager, and the Production Manager. The PM will use journeyman-level skills to expertly produce on-site work. The PM will also work with the Production Manager to consult on and help develop projects in design to aid in a seamless transition from design to construction. The PM's goal is to complete their projects on time and on budget. The PM is expected to handle calendar management, organize trades at their job sites, and communicate with the homeowners to ensure they feel informed and in control of the project as it unfolds. The PM is to provide a well-managed and rewarding remodeling experience for our clients.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of remodeling experience
  • Ability to read and translate plan sets to others on-site
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience
  • Comfortable with technology and open to learning
  • A growth mindset for both yourself and the company
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees, management, clients, and outside vendors
  • The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Creativity, a positive attitude, and a strong and resourceful work ethic
  • Capable of achieving results through collaboration and sharing of ideas
  • Capacity to self-manage while demonstrating a high level of professional maturity
