We are hiring a Residential Construction Project Manager to lead multiple residential construction, roofing, and remodeling projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, budgets, materials, subcontractors, documentation, quality control, and client communication throughout the project lifecycle.

This position is ideal for an experienced residential construction professional who is organized, proactive, financially aware, and committed to delivering quality work on time and within budget.


What You'll Do
  • Manage multiple residential construction, roofing, and remodeling projects from project setup through close-out
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, work plans, and production goals
  • Review and interpret blueprints, estimates, specifications, scopes of work, and other construction documents
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance
  • Prepare and manage takeoffs, change orders, punch lists, as-built information, and close-out documentation
  • Coordinate permits, inspections, testing, and municipal approvals
  • Ensure work complies with applicable building codes, safety requirements, project specifications, and company standards
  • Conduct safety meetings and address jobsite hazards promptly
  • Coordinate material orders, equipment, deliveries, pickups, and inspections
  • Confirm that Superintendents and subcontractors follow established schedules, work plans, and production expectations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project
  • Provide clear and consistent project updates in person and through JobTread
  • Assist clients with navigating insurance claims when applicable
  • Establish regular check-in and check-out communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members
  • Provide direction to on-site staff and subcontractors and conduct regular quality checks
  • Monitor labor, materials, job costs, and overall project profitability
  • Identify budget or schedule concerns and take corrective action when necessary
  • Resolve field issues and project risks before they affect quality, cost, or completion dates
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and submit daily Project Management Logs through JobTread
  • From time to time, perform hands-on construction, repair, punch-list, material-handling or field-support work when business or project need require, including putting on a tool belt and working alongside the field team.

  • Familiarity with local permitting processes and building departments in the greater Dallas area
  • Experience working closely with estimators, production staff, Superintendents, and company leadership
  • Strong working relationships with residential subcontractors and vendors

Physical and Field Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry construction materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from vehicles
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and move safely through active residential jobsites
  • Ability to climb ladders and access roofs or other elevated work areas when necessary
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meet company insurance requirements
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle for business purposes, as required
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
