Job Description:

As our RelocationCoordinator, you areresponsibleforall aspects of on-site and off-site resident relocation due Acquisition and Development Department renovationconstruction projects.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

  • Lead all efforts in the management and coordination of resident relocation atNational Church Residences properties before, during and after constructionrehabilitations.

  • Determinerelocationbudgetsand construct a comprehensive relocation plansupporting Development Project Leaders for the purposeof funding application submissions.

  • Maintain and monitor scope ofrelocationbudgets through the course of the relocationprocess.

  • Ensure all operations are in compliance with regulations relating to the Uniform Relocation Act (URA) and act as primary contact with the URA consultant.

  • Manage all aspects relatedto movingservicesprocurement and management, leasing(when applicable),resident transportationservices,as well asutility transfers and payments.

  • Work closely withRelocation and Communication Managertodeterminemostappropriate andcost-effectivemethods for construction phasing in relationship toresident relocation.

  • Act as key liaison between the Construction Department, Housing Operations andresidents in all matters relating to relocation.

  • Coordinate and hold allrequiredand informational resident and staff meetings, bothin-person and/or virtually, before andduringa relocation project.

  • Manage and provide all relocation-related communications to all factions ofNational Church Residences, theirresidentsand families.

  • Act as liaisonwith residents, property management,contractorsand internal departments to develop andmaintainrelocation resources, communication materialsandsupport tools thatfacilitatesmooth resident transitions during renovation,redevelopmentand capital improvement projects.

  • Create project-related communications, resident notices, presentations, trackingreportsand documentation to ensure residents,stakeholders,and projectteamsremaininformedthroughoutthe relocation process.

  • Support resident engagement efforts and help address concerns to promote a positive relocation experience.

  • Attend and support Acquisitions and Development ceremonies and project-related events including groundbreakings, grand openings, resident informational meetings, relocationeventsand community engagement activities.


PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:

  • Successfully manage the relocation budget, schedule and URA compliance for eachrenovation project assigned.

  • Perform professionally and with a high degree of accuracyin accordance withthe functions and duties ofRelocation Coordinator.


QUALIFICATIONS


Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


Experience:

A minimum of2yearsrequired, 5 yearspreferredproject or property management experience,preferably in the field of multi-family affordable housing or arelated field such as multi-family housing.


Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including

  • some public speaking and presentation experience.

  • Well organized and able toindependentlymanage and prioritize projects/tasks.

  • Ability to create,manage,andmaintainscope ofmultiple budgets and schedules.

  • Ability to workwellwithvarious stakeholderstogain consensus and providepositive outcomes.

  • Ability toeffectivelyresearch andprocuremovingvendors, off-site propertyleasesand transportation services.

  • Ability to provide and manage self-created project tracking andanalysis documentation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word,PowerPoint,Outlookand Excel asrequiredfor this position.

  • Willing and able to travel 30% within the United States and Puerto Rico.
