Job description

A journeyman shall be expected to work with minimal oversight. A journeyman should
be fully capable of meeting most services without direction. Government and/or contractor
personnel may still perform quality control and quality assurance checks on their work but
should not find significant errors. Journeyman level contractor employees are expected to
assist apprentice level personnel in learning their trade. Journeyman level contractor
employees also are expected to collaborate with Government and contractor personnel in
NGA and the IC in the performance of services. Such collaboration should provide accurate
technical information that contributes to synergized analysis that is better than the sum of the
individual parts. Journeyman level contractor personnel should regularly provide division
level support and may periodically be called upon to provide support at the office level. The
following skillsets are required/desired of Journeyman FMV analysts: Required:
โ€ข Attended a basic Intelligence Course
โ€ข Ability to prepare, maintain, and present intelligence displays, reports, and briefings
with the creation and use of visual aids (graphs, charts, etc.) and drafting, editing,
and proofreading documents for publishing
โ€ข Ability to work rapidly in a high tempo, high stress environment that often requires
multi-tasking
โ€ข Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
โ€ข Ability to compile, segregate, evaluate, research, interpret, analyze, and disseminate
intelligence information to support operations
โ€ข Knowledge of the intelligence collection process Desired:

a team
