Job description

  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
    • The Diamond Registration Scheduling Representative is a unique role within Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers. The Registration Scheduling Representative welcomes the patient into the care delivery setting and initiates the administrative systems that will lay the groundwork for the patient's clinical care as well as the financial documentation. This role oversees many service lines and share knowledge and direction to all patients for guidance through the multiple service lines, medical record systems and settings. Maintains all required records and reports, coordinates, processes, and reports insurance information.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional/Educational
      • High school diploma or equivalency is required.
      • Typing, computer entry and other clerical skills and experience required.
      • Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
      • Knowledge of overall patient access/financial service process, preferred.
    • Personal
      • Strong communication skills.
      • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Detail oriented.
      • Appreciation of and desire to be a part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.
      • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
