A Day in the Life of a Registration Specialist (Therapy)

Working at our front desk will give you the opportunity to do various tasks. It's a mix of customer service, scheduling, insurance verifications and patient interactions all rolled into one awesome job. Don't fear the unknown, our training is excellent, and we will get you up to speed in no time. Primarily, you'll be engaging with and talking to patients over the phone or in person. You can expect to answer their questions, schedule, and check them in for appointments, verify insurance, and work closely with the therapists to ensure proper scheduling.

Qualifications for a Registration Specialist (Therapy)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Patience, kindness, and the ability to work with people at all levels (internal and external) combined with compassion for our patients.
  • Ability to work in conjunction with staff in a supportive way to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Possess strong customer service skills/interpersonal interactions; ability to handle difficult and angry people constructively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, persuasion, relationship building, resolving conflict and integrity.
Work Schedule

Weekly Rotating Shift. Early Shift: Monday - Friday 6:55am-3:30pm (30 min lunch); Late Shift: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thr 9:30am - 6:00pm, Fri 7:30am - 4:00pm (30 min lunch)
