Regional Field Supervisor - Texas
This position may be in any area of Texas close to a major airport.
The Regional Field Supervisor (RFS) provides overall management and leadership to the staff of Field Inspectors within an assigned Region. Responsibilities include ensuring Field Inspector staff complete inspections onโtime and onโtarget, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving achievement of established regional business objectives, goals and/or metrics. In performing this work, the Regional Field Supervisor may interact with customers, and internal Telgian Fire Safety staff.
Essential Job Functions
- Drives execution of regional action plans to support established business objectives, metrics and KPI's; measures performance against goals and makes corrections as required to ensure overall plan results are achieved and/or exceeded.
- Ensure scheduled, Regional Field Inspections are completed onโtime and onโtarget and are aligned with customer expectations and internal processes with respect to safety, quality, and delivery of outputs and services. Immediately notify support service teams of any deviations.
- Actively manages Field Inspector associates; provides leadership, direction, mentorship and support; identifies, recommends and/or provides training as needed to accomplish overall goals and objectives
- Sets, supports and enforces associate performance objectives, measurements and deliverables for assigned staff; ensures associate performance and behaviors are aligned with Telgian Vision and Goals.
- Ensure all associates comply with established safety programs/procedures; identifies safety issues/hazards and notifies the Corporate Safety officer of those conditions that require corrective actions.
- Reviews all Regional expenses and adjusts as required to maintain expenses within monthly budgeted amounts. Works with manager to develop countermeasures if/when off track.
- Assist in developing, communicating and administering departmentalโspecific plans, policies and procedures to meet departmental business objectives and goals.
- Interfaces with internal customers to resolve conflicts relating to schedule, scope, or customer issues
- Manage Regional headcount as needed for workload including the interview, hiring and termination of department staff where authorized.
- Works with Support Services in assessing needs and making recommendations for inspectors to acquire licensing and certification.

Your Qualifications
High School or GED
Certification/Licensure NICET III in WaterโBased Systems NICET II in Fire Alarm
2 years college or specialized training
4 year college degree (i.e.: Bachelor)
Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer and Database Applications; Must possess effective written/oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
